2017 – Little Big Town performed the National Anthem before the College Football Playoff Championship game in Tampa where Clemson beat Alabama

2012 – Neal McCoy gets added to the Walk of Fame in his hometown of  Jacksonville, Texas

2000 – Shania Twain wins the People’s Choice Award for Favorite Female Musical Performer

1996 – Billy Bob’s Texas was recognized with a historical marker designation
